2900 Luminaries! $4,845 Raised!

What a wonderful Ronald McDonald House Luminary event we had for our Lake Ellen and North Forest Hills neighborhood last weekend! 2,900 luminaries lighting the night and $4,845 raised for the Ronald McDonald House, including a generous $1,000 donation from one neighbor in honor of another lovingly generous neighbor.

Thank you to the 25 youth and adult volunteers: Street Coordinators, Luminary Assembly Helpers, Helpers setting out at the Lake, Stateside and lighting, Clean-up crew! Thanks also to the musicians of the Brass Trio who made the walk to the lake even more magical!Thanks to all who walked the neighborhood, greeting each other and sharing the joy. And finally, a huge thank you to Celeste Mayer who organized the whole event. Without her, it would never have happened.
