Lakeside Music and Ice Cream Party this Saturday June 13 2-4PM
At the Lake Ellen picnic tables. Rain date Sun. June 14
Free music, ice cream, bubbles and hula hoops! See you there! Music begins at 2 pm with local musicians, Michael Goy and David Cooper, presenting their original music for guitar and bass. The band is called Red Nucleus.
And: free ice cream for LEHA members and their families! ($1 for nonmembers). We’ll have a supply of popsicles and ice cream treats
There will also be room for kids to play (we’ll block off Falls Rd). We’ll have a supply of sidewalk chalk, bubbles, and games to liven things up.
What to bring: yourselves, the kids, something cold to drink and a chair or blanket to sit on. Also, nonperishable food for PORCH
PORCH food drive at the same time! For those of you who don’t know, PORCH is a local organization dedicated to relieving food insecurity in our community. So please help out by bringing nonperishable food to donate. You can learn more about PORCH at https://chapelhill.porchcommunities.org
Right now they are especially in need of:
Nutrient-dense snacks/mini meals: flavored tuna/chicken foil packets, microwavable pasta dishes, nut butter/cracker packs, Vienna sausages and similar (sorry Northern transplants, they actually are quite good)
· Peanut butter and Nutella
· Canned fruit
· Canned tuna/chicken

This is just a quick reminder that it’s time to pay dues for membership in the Lake Ellen Homeowners’ Association (LEHA) which serves our North Forest Hills neighborhood.
To obtain or renew your Lake Ellen Homeowners’ Association (LEHA) annual household membership, you can pay online with PayPal to LEHABoard@gmail.com (or click the button below), with Venmo at @Ellen-Lake-5, or you can download this form and mail it along with a check.
For regular members, dues are $80.00/year while for lakefront homeowners (not renters), we ask for$200.00/year due in February. Additional donations are always welcome!
